Getting to the CARF

Travel information

The building of the Bordeaux Functional Genomics Center (CARF) is located in Carreire site of the University Bordeaux Segalen (146, rue Léo Saignat 33076 Bordeaux cedex). This campus is close to CHU Pellegrin (hospital).

Access

From Bordeaux airport (35 to 40 minutes) :

Take Tramway Line A direction Floirac Dravemont
Get off at François Mitterrand . (see map below for walking distance from this stop).

From SNCF rail station (Saint-Jean station) (15 to 20 minutes):

Take Tramway Line C direction Les Aubiers

Get off at stop Porte de Bourgogne

Take Tramway Line A direction Mérignac Centre

Get off at François Mitterrand . (Look at the maps below to see the distance on foot from this stop)

By car :

From Paris : Follow the direction : BORDEAUX-CENTRE / GARE SAINT-JEAN, then BOULEVARDS, cross  Barrière de Bègles  (so called because it is the crossroad of a Boulevard and an Avenue),  Barrière de Toulouse, Barrière Saint-Genès then Barrière de Pessac , then follow  Université Bordeaux 2 (on the left)

From Toulouse : Follow the direction : BASSIN D'ARCACHON / MÉRIGNAC / PESSAC / VILLENAVE-D'ORNON, leave this road at exit n° 16, then follow the direction TALENCE-CENTRE / DOMAINE UNIVERSITAIRE, once on BOULEVARDS follow (on the left) CHU Pellegrin (hospital) and cross  Barrière St Genès  then  Barrière de Pessac , then follow  Université Bordeaux 2 (on the left).
